51% say Yes to Welsh independence
A MAJORITY of people in Wales would vote for independence if the country could rejoin the European Union, a poll has revealed, according to independence campaigners.
The poll, commissioned by YesCymru, comes ahead of a planned march for independence in Barry, south Wales, on April 26.
When asked if Wales should be an independent country, 51 per cent said yes if the country was back in Europe.
