PROTESTERS continued to defy the Iranian authorities on Thursday with new actions as an 18-year-old became the latest victim killed during the unrest.

Kurdish rights organisation Hengaw said Momen Zandkarimi, an 18-year-old from Sanandaj, was shot and killed by Iranian authorities during a protest.

Hengaw reported that following pressure from Iranian security agencies, which fear his funeral could turn into another protest, Mr Zandkarimi’s body has been moved to another village for burial.
