TEACHERS are set to protest in towns and cities in Iran today as a long-running dispute over pensions, pay and conditions continues.
Weekend protests were met with a heavy-handed response, with footage circulating on social media appearing to show teachers being beaten by police officials.
As many as 15 teachers are believed to be behind bars, with protesters demanding their immediate release.
