THOUSANDS of protesters rallied outside Westminster on Saturday to demand an end to the government’s complicity in Israel’s genocide in Gaza.
“You are the hope of the Palestinian people right now in Gaza, in the West Bank, in refugee camps, in the diaspora and all around the world,” British-Palestinian activist Leanne Mohamad told the crowd.
“We have to keep fighting injustice, not for Palestine’s sake only.
“But for humanity, for human rights, against supremacy, against racism, and against imperialism.”
After the rally, protesters laid flowers and toys at Downing Street to honour those killed in Gaza, where Britain has been complicit in the slaughter by continuing arms exports to Israel.
Labour has suspended just 30 out of 350 arms licences to Israel and has failed to include components for F-35 jets which are capable of delivering 2,000lb bombs.
On Monday, a cross-party group of MPs will hold a banner saying “Stop Arming Israel” outside Parliament ahead of a Westminster Hall debate on a petition calling for Britain to revoke all arms exports immediately.

Campaigners say there is clear evidence British weapons are contributing to war crimes as the government goes on trial to defend its continued supply of arms to Israel
