Harry Brook and Liam Livingstone

MEN’S CRICKET: England are 2-1 down and needing a win to keep their hopes alive when they face Australia at Lord’s tomorrow in the fourth leg of their five-match one-day series.

After suffering heavy defeats in the first two games, stand-in captain Harry Brook hit an unbeaten 110, his first-ever international one-day century, as the English earned a 46 run (DLS method) win in a rain-shortened match at Chester-le-Street on Tuesday.

MEN’S RUGBY UNION: Last year’s United Rugby Championship winners Glasgow Warriors will look to recover from their narrow 20-19 defeat against Ulster in the opening round of fixtures when they host Benetton at Scotstoun tomorrow evening.
