MEN’S FOOTBALL: Mohamed Salah maintained his superb international goalscoring record by netting a double in Egypt’s 3-0 win over Djibouti in Casablanca on Wednesday night that sealed their qualification for next year’s World Cup.
The Egyptians have previously qualified three times for the finals but lost all three group games during their last campaign in 2018. Salah has now scored 63 goals in 108 international appearances.

HORSE RACING: 17-year-old Toby Moore, son of three-time British champion jockey Ryan Moore, will make his racing debut tomorrow afternoon when he partners Valdorcia at Kempton Park.
Like his father, Toby began his career in the pony-racing circuit and show jumping before becoming an apprentice at Charlie Appleby’s Newmarket-based stable.
Ryan Moore’s prestigious career includes five Breeders’ Cup wins and four world’s best jockey awards.
