Bo Westcombe-Evans scored two tries in Loughborough’s 36-17 victory over bottom club Sale and Harlequins gained their first win with a 31-17 victory over Leicester.
ICE HOCKEY: Cardiff Devils edged out Manchester 3-2 to remain top of the Elite League, six points clear of Coventry who kept their hundred per cent record intact with a 6-4 win at Belfast. Defending champions Sheffield saw off bottom club Glasgow 6-3, Daniel Catenacci and Ethan Strang both scored twice in Guildford’s 7-4 win at Fife and Dundee won 5-2 in Nottingham, who hit back to beat Belfast 5-1 on Sunday night.
