MEN’S FOOTBALL: Rangers travel to Istanbul tomorrow evening for the first leg of their Europa League last 16 tie against Jose Mourinho’s Fenerbahce who currently sit second in the Turkish Super League, four points behind Galatasaray. Elsewhere tonight 2021’s runners-up Manchester United, the only unbeaten team during the league phase, are in Basque country to face Real Sociedad and two-time Uefa Cup winners Tottenham visit AZ Alkmaar.

HORSE RACING: Sixmilebridge is expected to be disqualified from its win at the Cheltenham trials in January after testing positive for a banned substance. Trainer Fergal O’Brien claims that the six-year-old horse had been given a permitted medication for a joint problem three weeks before its recent win. Sixmilebridge is still expected to compete in next Wednesday’s Turners Novices’ Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival.

MEN’S RUGBY LEAGUE: The fourth round of Super League fixtures kick off tomorrow evening with Leigh putting their hundred per cent record on the line at Hull FC. The bottom two clash tomorrow when Castleford welcome Salford to the Jungle. Neither team has picked up a point yet and Salford will again be forced to field a weakened team after the sustainability cap was reimposed upon them. Champions Wigan host Huddersfield on Sunday.
