MEN’S CYCLING: Saturday’s startlist for the Milan-San Remo race includes Tadej Pogacar, last year’s winner Mathieu van der Poel, Tom Pidcock, and 2022’s champion Matej Mohoric. Known as the Spring Classic it’s the longest one-day event in men’s professional cycling, with the peloton facing almost 300 kilometres in the saddle from this year’s start in Pavia, just south of Milan, to the traditional finish on Via Roma in San Remo.
MEN’S CRICKET: Scotland beat the United Arab Emirates by 32 runs in Friday morning’s low scoring game in Dubai to win their three match Twenty20 series 2-1.
After losing the toss and being put into bat the Scots crumbled to 94 all out with Aayan Khan taking 3-14.
