MEN’S CRICKET: Co-hosts the United States continue their Twenty20 World Cup campaign in Texas tomorrow afternoon against 2022’s runners-up, Pakistan, while Scotland return from Tuesday’s rain-abandoned game with England will face Namibia in Barbados.

Tomorrow morning’s fixtures see Papua New Guinea taking on Uganda in Guyana and second-favourites Australia playing Oman in their opening match of the tournament.

WOMEN’S FOOTBALL: Scotland remain unbeaten and top of their Euro 2025 qualifying group on goal difference after Tottenham’s Martha Thomas netted four times as they demolished Israel 5-0 on Tuesday.

Second-placed Serbia won 4-0 in Slovakia. Reigning champions England won 2-1 in France to revive their qualification chances, Wales conceded an added-time equaliser to draw 2-2 in Ukraine and Northern Ireland lost 2-1 at home to Portugal.

SPEEDWAY: Former World Cup winner Fredrik Lindgren will finally make his debut for Birmingham tomorrow evening when the Brummies travel to Ipswich for the second leg of their Premiership Knock-Out Cup semi-final.

Ipswich take a narrow 46-44 advantage into the fixture. Tonight’s other racing sees the Premiership’s bottom club King’s Lynn host last year’s runners-up Sheffield in the first leg of their semi-final.

MEN’S FOOTBALL: Palestine will seal a place in the third qualifying round of the Asian Football Confederation’s World Cup qualifiers if they avoid defeat against Lebanon in their Group I clash tomorrow evening.

The match will take place at the Jassim bin Hamad stadium in Doha.

Australia have already qualified from this group without dropping a point or conceding a goal in four games before they travel to Bangladesh tomorrow morning.
