Goals from Kylian Mbappe, Rodrygo and Vinicius Junior steered European champions Real Madrid to a 3-0 win over Mexico’s Pachuca FC in the inaugural Intercontinental Cup final.
While Madrid were making their first appearance in the competition, the Mexicans were playing their third game in seven days after beating Brazil’s Botafogo and then Egypt’s Al-Ahly after extra time and penalties to reach the final.
