MEN’S SWIMMING: Eight-time World Champion and triple Olympic gold medallist Adam Peaty swam the world’s second fastest time this year for 100 metres breast-stroke as he qualified for the summer’s Paris European Championships. The 31-year-old, who recently returned from a year’s break, beat teenager Filip Nowacki into second place by almost half a second at Tuesday’s British championship race in London.
