Tom Brennan top-scored with 10+4 as Belle Vue saw off Ipswich 49-41 to claim an aggregate point win and stay 10 points clear in the Premiership.
Second-placed Leicester, who have six matches in hand, thumped struggling King’s Lynn 54-36.
Bottom club Peterborough gained their first away point of the season with a shock 45-45 draw at Wolverhampton, who took the super heat 7-2 to claim a winning draw.
MEN’S FOOTBALL:
There’s more Scottish League Cup action tomorrow night as Kelty Hearts look to bounce back from Saturday’s 3-1 loss to Greenock Morton when they visit the Meadowbank Stadium to take on FC Edinburgh in a Group D fixture.
