Morpeth Town boss delighted to reach FA Senior Cup Final at St James's Park

MORPETH TOWN boss Craig Lynch says the Highwaymen’s upcoming Northumberland FA Senior Cup Final against Blyth Spartans will be a great occasion.

“The Senior Cup is something we’ve got to look forward to and try and get to. I’m delighted that we’re going to have a showpiece at St James’s Park and I can’t wait,” he said.

“The city is buzzing at the minute, the stadium is fantastic, we’re obviously not going to get 52,000 but hopefully we can get a good couple of thousand there. It’s a good Cup, it’s the County Cup and it’s played at one of the best stadiums in the country, if not the world.”
