Kick It Out demand Newcastle transparency over investigation into Peter Beardsley

Kick It Out repeated the call for Newcastle to be “transparent about the findings of their own investigation” into former coach Peter Beardsley after the Football Association charged him with racially abusing a youth-team player.

The former Newcastle and England player was placed on paid leave last January while an investigation was held into accusations of bullying made by midfielder Yasin Ben El-Mhanni, who has since left the club, in January last year.

Beardsley has denied the accusation but was released from the club earlier this month, with the FA confirming at the time that they were still investigating the bullying claims.
