Reform accused of having links with far-right group in Wales

ANTI-FAR-RIGHT campaigners revealed today that Reform UK was still linked to the discredited Voice of Wales.

Far Right Watch Wales said that Reform’s newly elected Senedd member for Gwyr Abertawe Francesca O’Brien had thanked the far-right hate group VoW for its support in the recent election campaign.

Reform UK is now the official opposition in the Senedd after getting 33 members elected.

Ms O’Brien is a former Swansea councillor who defected from the Conservatives to Reform, and Far Right Watch Wales claims she has been linked to VoW several times before.

But Ms O’Brien’s thanking the hate group, founded by convicted fraudster Dan Morgan, for its support is apparently in defiance of orders from Reform’s party hierarchy not to publicly engage with the group.

The VoW team was at Reform’s Senedd manifesto launch interviewing bigwigs and members without any party intervention.

Reform was asked to comment but did not respond.

The Morning Star along with two other independent media outlets were banned by Reform during the Senedd campaign.
