MSPs demand ministers ‘come clean’ on US use of Prestwick Airport for Syria attack
MINISTERS must “come clean” over whether US planes used Prestwick Airport for recent air strikes on Syria, an MSP said today.
At First Minister’s Questions, the issue was raised by Green MSP Ross Greer.
But Nicola Sturgeon was accused of avoiding the question when she said: “We have discussed the issue of Prestwick Airport and the commercial nature of what it does and the fact that what it does in terms of military flights is no different than what it has done all along.”
