'Mark Kerry' the cover name of spook who snooped on anti-apartheid campaigners
THE COVER name of an undercover police officer who spied on City of London Anti-Apartheid Group was released by the spycops inquiry yesterday.
“Mark Kerry” spied on the the group, as well as the Socialist Workers Party (SWP), between 1988 and 1992.
Kerry is the third spycop confirmed by the inquiry to have infiltrated anti-apartheid groups: “Stewart Goodman” infiltrated the Anti-Apartheid Movement between 1970-1 before “Michael Scott” took over between 1971-6.
