THE full fixture list was revealed today ahead of the start of the new Women’s Super League season, with matches kicking off on September 4.

All eyes will be on London City Lionesses and their new signing, Spanish Ballon d’Or winner Alexia Putellas, who face Manchester United in matchweek one.

Sonia Bompastor’s Chelsea will host Aston Villa, who finished ninth in the table last season, at Stamford Bridge on September 5.

WSL winners Manchester City will begin their title defence against newly promoted Birmingham City when they welcome them to the Academy Stadium on September 6.

In the other fixtures that day, Arsenal travel to Brighton, Tottenham take on West Ham in what is set to be a fierce London derby between the rivals and Crystal Palace go up against Everton.

Charlton Athletic, who beat Leicester City on penalties in the promotion play-off to secure their place in the WSL, will battle it out with Liverpool at home.
