FAR-RIGHT hatemonger Katie Hopkins was seemingly tricked by a Youtube prankster into accepting a fake C**T award. 

The bigoted commentator was flown to Prague for the “ceremony” on Monday in an elaborate prank masterminded by Youtuber Josh Pieters.

In a video released by the blogger on Thursday, Ms Hopkins is shown gleefully accepting the Campaign to Unify the Nation Trophy. 

As she poses with the award, its acronym C**T flashes on the screen behind her in giant letters.

True to the far-right commentator’s character, Ms Hopkins then launches into a deluge of offensive remarks, attacking Muslims, people with epilepsy and teenage environmentalist Greta Thunberg for having autism. 

The 10-minute video reveals how the prank came together following three months of meticulous planning by South African Mr Pieters. 

First he set up a fake website for the non-existent “Cape Town Collective for the Freedom of Speech,” before inviting an unsuspecting Ms Hopkins via email. 

After she had happily accepted the nomination, the Youtuber booked flights and a five-star hotel in Prague and hired a team of actors to play “members” of the collective. 

Mr Pieters said he had carried out the prank in order to “use my freedom of speech to combat her spreading of hatred by playing on her ego and making her look a little bit silly.”

The video was released on the same day that Ms Hopkin’s Twitter account was suspended for violating the site’s hateful-conduct policy.
