Iranian students defy ultimatum to end protests

STUDENTS have defied an ultimatum by the head of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard to end their protests.
Hossein Salami had issued a chilling warning to protesters that Saturday must be the “last day” of protest.
He added: “Do not come to the street. Today is the last day of the riots.”
