Heaney stoked to win rematch against Pauls after missed title chance

NATHAN HEANEY is determined to win his rematch against Brad Pauls after their March draw ruled out a world title fight in front of a home crowd in Stoke.

Heaney was held to a draw in his first defence of the British title on the “Magnificent Seven” card in Birmingham.

The Stoke man admitted a “dream” world title fight against Carlos Adames was to take place this summer at the Stoke City Stadium had he won that fight, but those plans have since been put on hold as he prepares for tomorrow’s rematch.
