JEREMY CORBYN will announce Labour’s plans for modern, worker-led public ownership today and recommit the party to renationalising Royal Mail.

Speaking at the conference of communication workers’ union the CWU, the Labour leader will declare the 20^th century model of top-down nationalisation to be “history.”

He will also announce proposals to set up a post bank under Post Office ownership, following the examples of France, Italy and New Zealand.
