Chelsea sweep past Rosengard to the delight of Hayes
Chelsea 3-0 Rosengard

CHELSEA moved to the brink of the last eight of the Champions League with a resounding 3-0 win over Swedish side FC Rosengard at Kingsmeadow on Wednesday night, maintaining their record of not conceding a goal at their new home.

A proud Chelsea manager Emma Hayes claimed: “It’s the minimum standard. For us goals are the bonus, clean sheets are what we pride ourselves on.”

As in their previous home first leg against Bayern Munich, Chelsea roared out of the blocks pinning their visitors back with tireless pressing and fluent movement.
