Calls for probe into Tories' handling of serial rapist MP claims
CAMPAIGNERS and the opposition demanded today that the Conservatives investigate their complaints procedures following allegations that a Tory MP committed a series of rapes — and was able to continue working in Parliament.
Former Tory Party chairman Sir Jake Berry was said to have warned the police that an internal “failure” to act on allegations allowed the unnamed MP to “continue to offend.”
Labour Party chairwoman Anneliese Dodds called the allegations “deeply concerning and extremely serious” as she urged the Tories to investigate.
