Welsh Christmas treats
DAVID NICHOLSON, SKYLAR and BEHATI sample two Christmas productions in Cardiff

Peter Pan/Hansel and Gretel
Sherman Theatre, Cardiff

CHRISTMAS entertainment for the children of Wales is in safe hands as Sherman theatre brings us two productions: their own Hansel and Gretel, and a joint production with Theatr Iolo of Peter Pan.

JM Barrie’s classic story of the boy who lives in Neverland and never grows up is a seasonal theatre favourite but writer Catherine Dyson and director Lee Lyford have given us the story in a modern setting and non-traditionally star Alex Murdoch as Mrs Darling and Captain Hook.
