More than half of Scotland worries about soaring cost of living this winter, new analysis shows

MORE than half the population of Scotland are worried about the soaring cost of living this winter, new analysis from Citizen Advice Scotland (CAS) suggests. 

The charity said data from a YouGov survey found almost two-thirds of Scots — 62 per cent — are worried about rising prices and how it will affect their lives in the coming cold months. 

This works out as an estimated 2.8 million people in Scotland which has a population of about 5.5 million.
