GMB members accept Welsh government’s revised NHS pay award

GMB members in Wales have accepted the devolved government’s revised NHS pay award by a two-thirds majority, the health union announced today.

The union pledged to press the Welsh government for further increases to compensate for years of wage freezes.

In the consultative ballot, which closed on Monday, more than 65 per cent of GMB members voted for acceptance on a 60 per cent turnout.
