Jeremy Corbyn says Prime Minister should 'consider his position' after Supreme Court defeat
Boris Johnson with the Queen

JEREMY CORBYN has said the Prime Minister should “consider his position” after the Supreme Court ruled that Boris Johnson’s decision to prorogue Parliament was unlawful.

The Labour leader told his party’s conference in Brighton this morning: “The Supreme Court has just announced its decision and it shows that the Prime Minister has acted wrongly in shutting down Parliament.

“It demonstrates a contempt for democracy and an abuse of power by him.
