A SOCIAL housing activist has said it was an “insult and a disgrace” that the boss of the landlord of the mouldy flat that killed Awaab Ishak had refused to resign.

The two-year-old died due to a respiratory condition caused by the presence of black mould in his home, managed by Rochdale Boroughwide Housing (RBH).

The mould had gone untreated despite repeated complaints by his family to their social housing landlord over three years.
