Wayne Rooney holds no grudges after equalling goals record

WAYNE ROONEY has the chance to break Bobby Charlton’s England scoring record tomorrow but holds nothing against Roy Hodgson for taking him off against San Marino over the weekend.

Rooney opened the scoring in a 6-0 rout, which secured qualification for next year’s European Championships, and equalled the record set by Charlton 45 years ago.

The Manchester United captain was then taken off after 58 minutes and many feel that he would have broken the record against a team ranked 193rd in the world.
