Labour laps from Ukip anti-immigration rhetoric trough
LABOUR leaders were in hot water yesterday over the sale of a controversial new mug bearing the slogan “controls on immigration.”
The £5 mug caused a stir when it went on sale on Saturday, with Labour activists and opposition parties scolding it on social media.
Critics said the ceramic celebration of Labour’s immigration policy, one of five included on its general election pledge card, showed that the party is pandering to Ukip.
