Snooker: Corbyn pockets support of Rocket Ronnie

JEREMY CORBYN received the backing of Ronnie O’Sullivan yesterday, with the snooker superstar admitting that he finds it refreshing to hear an MP be honest and up front with voters.

O’Sullivan publicly backed Ed Miliband in the run-up to the general election and has now placed his support behind Corbyn.

Writing on his personal blog, he said: “I was sad to see the Labour Party not get into power. And I’m sad that Ed Miliband is not prime minister because I think he would have been very good for this country.
