Over 100 people attended "Another Lambeth is Possible" on Saturday, a conference organised by Lambeth Housing Activists.
The event brought together local activists, tenants and small business owners, as well as politicians, to discuss the themes of gentrification and social cleansing.
There was a positive, vibrant atmosphere following the recent victory of the campaign against the demolition of the Cressingham Gardens estate, after the High Court ruled that Lambeth Council's Consultation had been unlawful and must be re-run.
