Disability campaigners plan to set world record for climbing Yr Wyddfa in wheelchairs
DISABILITY campaigners are planning to set a world record for climbing Yr Wyddfa in wheelchairs.
The two wheelchair users have spinal muscular atrophy and will take on the challenge of Wales’s highest mountain in all-terrain wheelchairs in June.
Josh Wintersgill is 30 years old and with 19-year-old Maxwell McKnight is planning the record climb up Yr Wyddfa (Mount Snowdon) while raising awareness of the inaccessibility of hiking spots.
