Comics to Marvel at in the year ahead
Kitty Pride

DESPITE the fact that sales are on the decline, 2018 should still be a great year for comics because the quality of story being produced is better than ever.

Over the next 12 months, I'll be picking up on the sublime all-new Guardians of the Galaxy. The success this team has had on the big screen translates to the page and the Marvel writers never fail to come up with new twists and character development to keep the reader entertained.

As things currently stand in the series, Drax the Destroyer is now a pacifist, Groot is still a baby and unable to grow, while Rocket Racoon, Gamora and Peter Quill continue to annoy each other in the way that only loving family members can do.
