FORMER England goalkeeper Mary Earps is set to complete her move to London City Lionesses after leaving Paris St Germain, the Women’s Super League club announced today.
Earps will officially join the Lionesses on July 1 following the conclusion of her contract at PSG.
The 33-year-old Euro 2022 winner spent two seasons in the French capital, having signed from Manchester United in the summer of 2024.
London City enjoyed a successful debut season in the WSL last year, finishing sixth in the table.
“I’m over the moon to join this club and I’m really looking forward to it. I feel the club aligns with what I stand for. I can’t wait to get started and to get down to business,” said Earps, who was also part of the England side which reached the 2023 World Cup final.
“The club’s values represent what I want to represent and they are passionate about what I want to achieve and change the game in a positive way.
“The vision and ambition, including the new training facility, is incredible and I’m looking forward to seeing that develop.”
Earps, who won 53 England caps before retiring ahead of their successful Euros defence last summer, added in a club statement: “It won’t be easy, the WSL is extremely competitive.
“The team had a brilliant 2025/26 season finishing mid-table in their first season, now it’s about climbing the table and working towards finishing as high as possible.”
