Demonstrators call for end toIsrael's slaughter in Gaza

HUNDREDS of people threw their weight yesterday behind the campaign against Israel’s ongoing butchering of Palestinians by joining a second emergency demonstration in less than a week after bombings in the Gaza Strip escalated.

Trade unionists and Palestine Solidarity Campaign (PSC) supporters took to the streets demanding an end to the violence and expressing solidarity with victims.

PSC director Sarah Colborne said the protests were vital as she believed that the “people in Britain are sickened and outraged at Israel’s slaughter in Gaza.”
