Celebrities out in force to back NHS convention

POP star Paloma Faith stood up against privatisation with hundreds of campaigners today in a bid to save the NHS from further butchering at the Tories’ hands.

Actors Ricky Tomlinson and Stephen Mangan were also among the celebrities supporting the People’s Convention for the NHS taking place this weekend.

The event heard speeches and contributions from journalist Owen Jones, TUC assistant general secretary Paul Nowak and Keep our NHS Public chair Professor Sue Richards.
