International squad announcements have caused plenty of debates among football supporters and journalists over the past few months.
While the news of Roy Hodgson’s Euro 2016 squad will dominate the pages of today’s papers, should he have taken four centrebacks or how could he leave out Danny Drinkwater but take Jordan Henderson — I was still trying to get my head around Mark Sampson’s selection for the up-and-coming two Euro 2017 qualifiers against Serbia, starting at Wycombe this weekend.
