Labour Party councillors can be part of the renewed class struggle

AS autumn slowly but surely approaches, we are hurtling ever-faster into a Britain where millions of people will be increasingly struggling to make ends meet, worried about day-to-day living.  

The investment bank Citigroup has suggested that the current situation is unlikely to improve in the foreseeable future, with inflation set to rocket to 18 per cent by next year.  

The anxiety, insecurity and helplessness which many ordinary working people are experiencing will no doubt see foodbank usage increasing, with local councils across the country now even suggesting opening “warm banks.”
