Scots think SNP is failing on provision of public services, poll shows

MOST people in Scotland think the SNP is doing a bad job of handling vital public services and would prioritise focus on cost of living rather than independence, according to a new poll.

When asked in December how well they think the SNP is performing when it comes to NHS, 61 per cent said not well — up 3 per cent since September, according to Survation’s survey for Scotland in Union.

The figure was similar for economic policies and train services, with 53 per cent saying the SNP is not performing well on education, up 4 per cent.
