Plaid Cymru challenges Sir Keir to support greater powers for Wales ahead of independence march in Swansea
People take part in a march calling for Welsh independence in the centre of Cardiff, Wales, October 1, 2022

PLAID Cymru’s acting leader Llyr Gruffydd has written to Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer asking him to support greater powers for Wales ahead of Saturday’s independence march in Swansea.

Mr Gruffydd’s letter said the Labour Party had “historically failed” to keep pace with the growing desire for more powers for Wales.

Plaid’s acting leader called on Sir Keir to back greater powers over the economy, broadcasting, energy, welfare, justice, and transport.
