Sunak refuses to stand up for Braverman following reports she tried to dodge a speeding penalty

RISHI SUNAK refused to stand up for his Home Secretary today after she allegedly asked civil servants to help her avoid receiving penalty points on her driving licence.

The Prime Minister faces renewed calls to launch an investigation into Suella Braverman, who was caught speeding outside London while she was attorney general last summer.

She asked Home Office aides to help organise a one-to-one speed awareness course, according to the Sunday Times.
