Graves awaits crucial members’ vote to ratify Yorkshire return
Colin Graves, September 15, 2019

COLIN GRAVES’S controversial return to Yorkshire as chair will move a step closer tomorrow if the county’s members support his loan offer for the club.

The debt-ridden county’s long search for fresh investment has brought them back to the man who served as chair between 2012 and 2015 before he left for the same role at the England and Wales Cricket Board.

The club’s existing board recommended last month that members support a special resolution at an extraordinary general meeting this morning which, if passed, could ultimately lead to Graves and three associates being appointed to the board.
