SPEEDWAY: Rohan Tungate top-scored with 14+1 points and Adam Ellis bagged 10+1 as King’s Lynn won 47-43 at Birmingham on Monday evening to move off the bottom of the Premiership for the first time since their two point deduction.

Dan Bewley scored 14 points racing from number 5 as Belle Vue recovered from a poor start to overcome Leicester 48-42 in Monday night’s other Premiership action.

CYCLING: Britain have named Commonwealth champion Evie Richards and Ella Maclean-Howell for the women’s Olympic mountain bike race in Paris.

The men’s team will be made up of defending champion Tom Pidcock and games debutant Charlie Aldridge.

European champion Josh Tarling will compete in the men’s time trial with Ethan Hayter and also form part of the road race team alongside Pidcock, Fred Wright and Stephen Williams.

MEN’S FOOTBALL: Group E concludes at the Euros tomorrow evening with Ukraine playing Belgium and Slovakia up against Romania.

All four teams are currently on three points, the first time that has happened at the Euros, with Ukraine bottom on goal difference.

Portugal have already qualified from group F before tomorrow night’s game with Georgia and Turkey only need a draw against Czechia to join them in the next round.
