Woman who ‘milkshaked’ Nigel Farage admits assault and criminal damage
Leader of Reform UK Nigel Farage has a milkshake thrown over him as he leaves the Moon and Starfish pub after launching his General Election campaign in Clacton-on-Sea, Essex, June 4, 2024

A WOMAN who threw a milkshake over Reform UK leader Nigel Farage admitted assault and causing criminal damage when she appeared in court today.

Victoria Thomas Bowen, 25, hurled the cup at him outside a pub in Clacton-on-Sea during the general election campaign.

Mr Farage was doused with the milkshake and hit by the cup as he left Wetherspoon pub the Moon and Starfish in the Essex seaside town on June 4.

In a witness statement, the now MP for Clacton said he had not been injured, but “this incident caused me concern as I have only been going about my job.”

Ms Thomas Bowen pleaded guilty at Westminster Magistrates’ Court today to assault by beating and causing £17.50 of criminal damage to a jacket belonging to Mr Farage’s security officer James Woolfenden as she was due to go on trial.

Adjourning the case until December 16, deputy senior district judge Tan Ikram told the OnlyFans model: “This was an unprovoked, targeted attack now on an elected Member of Parliament.”
