SARAH WOOLLEY vowed to continue to put the interests of her members first today as she was re-elected unopposed as general secretary of the Bakers Food and Allied Workers Union.
In a statement marking the start of her next five years at the helm, she said: “I have put the interests of our members, who are the lifeblood of our great union, at the forefront of everything I have done and I will continue to do so over the course of the next five years.
“I intend to build on our recent successes and will fight tooth and nail to make sure our members have fair pay, dignity and security at work.
“In the next five years I will also continue to fight for our members, always putting their interests first, as well as prioritising recruitment and growing the Bakers Food and Allied Workers Union through active campaigning and organising with, and on behalf of, our members.”
