SPOT rally to call for action to restore democracy in Turkey
Women chat during a protest marking International Women's Day in Istanbul, Turkey, March 8, 2025

CAMPAIGNERS will gather in an online rally on Wednesday night to demand action to restore democracy in Turkey with key figures from Britain’s labour movement.

Speakers will include former Labour leader and Peace and Justice Project’s Jeremy Corbyn, Baroness Christine Blower, National Education Union’s Louise Regan and MPs and trade unionists from Turkey and Germany.
