Highest NHS operations cancellations since 2010
FRESH evidence of the disastrous toll of Tory cuts came to light yesterday with NHS England figures revealing 19,000 operations cancelled in the last three months of 2014.
A week ago health experts at the King’s Fund warned that government privatisation policies have plunged the service into chaos.
And yesterday’s cancellation statistics — the result of rising budget and staffing pressures at hospitals — are the worst since 2010.
